General information only
TubeSnaps pages, guides, and tool explanations are provided for general information. They are not legal advice, professional advice, or a guarantee that a specific use of a thumbnail is allowed.
If you need legal, compliance, or copyright advice, consult a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
Thumbnail availability can change
TubeSnaps checks known public thumbnail image candidates and browser-visible dimensions. YouTube may change image behavior, URL responses, availability, or placeholder behavior at any time.
A candidate appearing available does not mean you have permission to reuse it, and a missing candidate does not necessarily mean the video has no custom thumbnail.
No video download or bypass
TubeSnaps does not download YouTube videos, extract video streams, bypass platform controls, or provide arbitrary frame extraction from YouTube videos on the server.
The Screenshot Helper explains local, user-controlled screenshot workflows and available preview image candidates instead of acting as a video downloader.
Third-party websites
TubeSnaps may link to YouTube, Google documentation, image hosts, partner tools, or other third-party websites. Those services are controlled by their own owners and policies.
TubeSnaps is not responsible for third-party content, availability, tracking, downloads, browser extensions, or changes to external services.
Use at your own discretion
TubeSnaps aims to be useful, accurate, and transparent, but the site is provided as-is. Always verify important outputs before using them in production, client, legal, commercial, or public publishing workflows.
